Kellari Taverna, Destination DC and the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington are proud to present the 16th biannual Washington, DC Restaurant Week from August 16-22, 2010, sponsored by Cadillac and American Express.
Dinner: $35.10 for a three-course fixed-price meal
Beverages, gratuity and tax are not included.

First Course

Soup of the day 

Prasini-Romaine hearts, scallions, dill, feta vinaigrette

Calamari- Grilled squid with  olive oil and lemon emulsion

Spanakopita- Fillo pies filled with spinach, leeks and feta cheese

Patzaria Skordalia- Baby arugula, beets and garlic almond mousse

Sardines- Mediterranean, simply grilled with olive oil and herbs

 Greek salad- Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers. onions and feta

Main Course

Lavraki- Mediterranean bass with steamed wild greens

Salmon- Fire roasted with grilled fennel, roasted tomato, and Alfonso Olives

Paidakia- Grilled lamb chops with oregano potatoes

Chilean Sea Bass-  Wrapped in grape leaves and slowly baked, served over Gigantes beans

Diver Scallops- Pan roasted with squid ink linguini and tomato shellfish broth

 Organic Chicken  “Kotopoulo”- Roasted Organic chicken with feta  infused potato purée

Baklavas- Almond pastry in fillo with clove honey

          Dark Chocolate Mousse Torte- with blood orange sorbet

Greek Yogurts - with sour sweet cherries and toasted walnuts
